Photography has always seemed to be a creative outlet for me. A way that I can shut out everything else going on, and just express myself through photos.  It all started when I got my very first point-and-shoot camera in 7th grade. I had never picked up a camera in my life, but I was drawn to the beauty and creativity that I saw in photographs. I spent the next few years figuring out how to get the "right shot" by ignorantly moving dials and buttons around until I was satisfied with the outcome. Years later, my passion for photography has gone from a simple hobby, taking close-up pictures of flowers and sunsets in my backyard, to a profession, capturing some of life's greatest moment's through my lens.

To me, photography is an avenue for creating memories in such a way that makes the past come to life again. There is only so much detail that our brains can recall from a certain time years ago. But with one glimpse of that moment visible on paper, it can bring back waves of emotion and nostalgia, and can allow life's memories to stay fresh in our minds forever. And I love getting to capture those moments for people.
